Designing complex platforms at scale.

Product design leader focused on systems, product and organisational clarity. Work spans The Guardian, The Tate, Savills, Nissan, BlackRock and iShares.

From Melbourne to London

I began my career in Melbourne, working across digital agencies on large consumer brands, where speed and adaptability were essential.

After moving to London in 2016, I focused on platform and systems work - from a discovery tool for The Tate to design systems at Three. Mobile, Nissan, The Guardian, BlackRock and iShares, and redesigning Savills’ website.

Most recently, I have returned to Savills to modernise the property search platform I originally led in 2017.

Throughout, my focus has been consistent: building clear foundations that support long-term product growth.

Designing at scale

I design products that need to solve user problems across teams, regions and complex constraints. That often involves shared foundations, from interaction models to governance, that allow multiple teams to build consistently.

I’m interested in how decisions hold up over time: how patterns adapt as products evolve and complexity increases.

Design systems in practice

I establish and evolve design systems that operate at organisational scale - defining foundations, building reusable components and setting contribution models that prevent fragmentation.

  • At BlackRock and iShares, this meant aligning multiple brands across global teams.

  • At Three Mobile, it meant leading service-wide transformation.

  • At Savills, it has meant modernising legacy patterns into a coherent platform for future scalability.

Working with people, not just systems

My roles require close collaboration across product, engineering, research and analytics. I’m interested in how decisions are made, how teams align and where communication breaks down.

In 2025, I completed a Graduate Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, London. Studying human behaviour more formally has strengthened the way I lead, particularly in environments where systems, stakeholders and incentives don’t always align.

Clear communication and shared foundations reduce duplication, increase trust and improve how teams work together.

Working with AI

I use AI to explore layout directions, pressure-test ideas and build rapid prototypes to validate interactions early. I treat AI as part of the design process - accelerating learning without lowering the bar on quality.
